n’awlins po boy’s played zydeco music in the park, which was all gussied up in painted chinese lanterns. the fiddler layed down on the stage & was wailing away, while a guy stumbled up next to me then promptly passed out. nothing like hosting an "alcohol-free, family-friendly, new years event" in a park inhabited mostly by homeless people. thanks st. pete!
